However, despite the well-founded optimism surrounding Iowa’s program, the Hawkeyes’ latest game against Wisconsin revealed how far the team still has to go to become legitimate contenders in the Big Ten. Iowa was thoroughly outclassed by the Badgers in the Kohl Center, losing by 31 points to a team that entered the game having started conference play 0-2.
