While the season doesn’t begin until November 17 at the Iowa City Duals, Tom Brands and company held wrestle-offs over the weekend for the first time since 2012, because, you know, basically all of last year’s starting group graduated. Results are below, with more info here at Hawkeye Sports.
Despite a ‘TBA’ awaiting the winner of the Perez Perez-Justin Stickley bout 125, blue-chip recruit Spencer Lee didn’t wrestle over the weekend - instead, Stickley downed Perez 13-13 Friday, and 15-0 Saturday.
