The last time Iowa made the Sweet 16 Y2K was still a concern and the current Iowa players weren't even in grade school yet. 1999 was a long time ago, is what we're saying. Dr. Tom was still patrolling the Iowa sideline, and Dean Oliver, Jess Settles, J.R. Koch, Guy Rucker (LIFE AS A G), Joey Range, and Kent McCausland led Iowa to the second weekend of the NCAA Tournament. That year they beat #4 seed Arkansas in the second round.
