It’s been a little under a year, but Iowa is back in the AP Top 25.
The last time the Hawkeyes were ranked by the AP was Dec. 4, 2016 and they lost their ranking in the final poll after falling to Florida in the Outback Bowl.
It’ll be the 314th week the Hawkeyes have been in the poll, which ranks 24th all-time in FBS history.
The Hawkeyes aren’t the only team from the state ranked in the poll as Iowa State finds themselves a spot ahead of the Hawkeyes at No. 24, tumbling after a loss to West Virginia.
