Our old, uh, friends from up north have made the short trip down to Iowa City as the Hawkeyes play host to the Wisconsin Badgers in the battle for the Heartland Trophy! Iowa is poised to play their second straight home game for the first time since early September and looking to build on the momentum they’ve started over the last two times inside the friendly confines.
Over those two matchups against Washington and Northwestern, Iowa has combined for 80 total points scored while allowing just 24. They’re not expected to get close to the 40 points they’ve put up each of the last two times on the Duke Slater Field turf, but Iowa fans are hopeful a change at QB will mean a more dynamic offense tonight.
