The Iowa Hawkeyes are poised to close out their 2024 season as they head to Nashville, Tennessee to take on the #19 Missouri Tigers in the TransPerfect Music City Bowl. The matchup will be the first between the border rivals since the 2010 Insight Bowl (a 27-24 Iowa win) after the 2020 bowl matchup was canceled due to COVID-19.
This will be the 14th meeting between the Hawkeyes and Tigers, with Missouri leading the series 7-6. But it will be just the second meeting between the two programs in the last 110 years. After facing off every year from 1892-1896 and again from 1902-1910, Iowa and Mizzou took 100 years off before that 2010 bowl meeting.
