Iowa was blown out yesterday by Virginia, but the Hawks are a young team and these kinds of games were to be expected. Virginia is a team with national championship aspirations and there’s no shame in a young team getting shown up by them.
Today, Iowa plays Memphis in the Emerald Coast Classic. Iowa is 2-0 all-time against Memphis, but the two teams haven’t played since 2001.
