A plethora of ex-Hawkeyes were on byes in Week 11, with off weeks for Buffalo, Cleveland, Miami, New England, and San Francisco accounting for gameday breaks for 11 former Iowa players.
One of those players, George Kittle, is on a historic pace for the 49ers with 50 receptions for 775 yards this season this season. Kittle can become just the second tight end in franchise history with 70 receptions, and he’s on pace for the highest receiving yardage total for the team since Terrell Owens’s 1,300 in 2002.
