It’s game day. Again. Try as we might, to forget about Iowa football after the onslaught of frustrating losses that keep the lid on both expectations, the Hawkeyes just aren’t ready for us to move on to basketball and wrestling entirely.
So much so that they’ve opted to really spice things up with a 5th string, walk-on QB starting his first career game on the road and an All-Big Ten caliber corner opting out of the remainder of the regular season.

Today could easily devolve into a dumpster fire, but if nothing else it will be a meaningful test of the coaching chops of both Phil Parker and Tim Lester.
