This summer has been crazy in regards to the college football transfer process. It almost seems like free agency, but instead of a wide-open free agency, it’s a free agency dictated by the NCAA and however they see fit. For start quarterbacks, getting a transfer waiver seems almost seamless while others struggle to get their transfer waiver approved. With the arrival of former 4-star wide receiver Oliver Martin to the program, the Iowa football team is going to attempt to be one of those lucky schools to get immediate eligibility for an impact player.
If they are successful in getting Martin’s waiver approved, it will be huge for the Iowa football team in 2019.
