The Buffalo Bills wide receiver room just got a bit thinner after trading away former second-round draft pick Zay Jones to the Oakland Raiders for a 2021 fifth-round pick. With former Iowa football player, Nick Easley recently signed to the practice squad, this is just another step in the right direction.
Prior to the trade, Buffalo had promoted wide receiver Duke Williams from the practice squad, and he made quite a name for himself pretty quickly as he caught 4 passes for 29 yards and a touchdown against Tennessee last week. With Williams’ emergence, Jones, who has battled injuries and a plethora of other issues, was on the outside looking in of a seven-person wide receiver group in Buffalo.
