Week three of the Iowa football season is nearly here. After a pair of disappointing losses in weeks one and two, the Hawkeyes need to get things on track and in a hurry. Apathy is beginning to set in among Iowa fans as the Hawkeyes seemingly find new ways to lose each week and we watch teams like Purdue and Northwestern move into the driver’s seat in the Big Ten West.
If the Hawkeyes want to salvage anything, they need to get a win this weekend. Their opponent, the Michigan State Spartans, suffered an equally frustrating loss to Rutgers in week one, but bounced back for a big rivalry win in week two over the Michigan Wolverines.
