The Hawkeyes finished the year 6-2 while riding a 6-game winning streak. That all came to a halt when Michigan was forced to back out of their Championship Week matchup with Iowa. A couple weeks later, COVID-19 forced Missouri to do the same with their Music City Bowl matchup with the Hawkeyes.
