Twitter was blowing up Saturday evening as the Iowa football team blew an important game against a tough Penn State Nittany Lion program. The game was disappointing and everyone was pretty frustrated, myself included. I think, for me personally, what made it such a tough loss to swallow is that we have already seen this happen four games ago against Wisconsin.
Bad mistakes and performances at the most inopportune times were once again the down fall of the Iowa football team. We chronicled a few of those bad mistakes and performances yesterday even. It wasn’t all bad as we alluded to with our three positive takeaways from the loss, and many Iowa Hawkeyes played quite well in Saturday’s contest.
