In a weird turn of events, the Iowa football team went from a slightly foggy, but very manageable path to the Big Ten Championship game to stuck in waste high mud in the middle of nowhere. Yet, somehow, the Hawkeyes are still in a very good position to play in a great bowl game this year. Sure, it’s not the College Football Playoff (which I still believe the Hawks had enough talent to make happen), and it’s not the Rose Bowl, but there are a few fantastic options out there that are very much in the realm of possibilities.
