The Hawkeyes had some incredible success with their big official visit weekend a few short weeks ago, landing three of their four official visitors. The lone holdout was Suwanee, Georgia native Tomari Fox. Fox was the second Suwanee native to officially visit Iowa City this spring, following North Gwinnett RB Tyler Goodson, who was Iowa’s first spring visitor.
Today, Goodson also became the first of the Suwanee natives to commit to the Hawkeyes, making his announcement via Twitter.
Goodson is an incredibly talented running back the Hawkeyes have been targeting for some time. At one point, it was thought the staff wanted to bring in two backs in the class with Goodson their top target as the lightning to Jirehl Brock’s thunder.
