As with everything else this year, Iowa’s recruiting in 2020 has been a wild ride. Back in the spring, Iowa’s class of 2021 was rolling. The Hawkeyes had a top-15 class nationally for several weeks and saw an onslaught of commitments over a very short period of time in March and April.
But now, it’s been roughly four months since Iowa last got a commitment. And the last one they received, in June, was a re-commitment from a player who had previously decommitted. Today, that same player has again decommitted as Jordan Oladokun announced he is reopening his recruitment.
