With 20 commits signed during the early signing period, things were expected to be pretty light on the second National Signging Day for the Iowa Hawkeyes. The one player expected to sign a national letter of intent was recent commit Jermari Harris.
Harris, who had been on the Hawkeyes’ radar for some time, officially visited Iowa City over the weekend. He wasted little time, committing to Iowa on Monday.
Today, Harris is officially a Hawkeye.
In case you missed his commitment earlier this week, Harris comes to Iowa City from Montini Catholic in Lombard, Illinois, home of former Hawkeye and current Minnesota Viking Jaleel Johnson.
