IOWA FOOTBALL NO. 16 IN FIRST COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFF RANKINGS

The Hawkeyes are ranked No. 16 overall in the first college football playoff rankings of the 2018 season.

17. Texas
18. Mississippi State
19. Syracuse

Alabama is the No. 1 team overall, followed by Clemson at No. 2, LSU at No. 3 and Notre Dame at No. 4. Michigan rounds out the top five.

In the top 10 we have Georgia, Oklahoma, Washington State, Kentucky and Ohio State. Washington State beating out OSU is fun and good!
