Iowa football: Long snapper Casey Kreiter added to 2019 Pro Bowl Roster

Former Iowa football player Casey Kreiter, who is currently a long snapper for the NFL’s Denver Broncos, will be heading to his first Pro Bowl this year after news broke that Pro Bowl Head Coach (and current Chargers Head Coach) Anthony Lynn selected Kreiter as his “need” player for this game.

According to the Denver Bronco’s team website, this is the first time a Broncos long snapper has ever been invited to the Pro Bowl, and it’s certainly an honor for the hard-working Kreiter to be heading there.

Kreiter, a native of Dewitt, Iowa spent five years playing for the Iowa football team, first walking on as a defensive player before switching full-time to long snapping.
