The Iowa football team held a recruiting camp on Sunday, which gave them the opportunity to have a better look at some of the guys they’ve already received commitments from and a look at guys they are considering.
One of those guys was offensive tackle Gennings Dunker, who the Hawkeyes gave an offer to on the spot and he accepted.
The 6-5, 265 pound Lena, Illinois native is the first commitment for Kirk Ferentz’ 2021 class. It’s pretty early in Dunker’s recruiting process to commit somewhere but obviously, he loved what he saw in the Iowa football program and what the Hawkeye coaching staff had to say.
