Heading into draft season, it was pretty obvious that the four underclassmen who declared from for the NFL from the Iowa football program would receive invites to the NFL scouting combine. What was more interesting though was who would be invited from Iowa’s group of seniors.
Personally, I thought Keegan Render and Ross Reynolds would receive invitations, especially Render after he was included on Matt Miller’s 7 round mock draft.
When the NFL released the full list of combine invites today, however, neither Render nor Reynolds were extended invites to the biggest pre-draft event the NFL offers for prospects.
