For 30 minutes of game action on Saturday, things seemed to be little changed for the Iowa Hawkeyes vs a year ago. Then the second half kicked off and Tim Lester did something we rarely saw from his predecessor: he made adjustments that turned into production.
The Hawkeyes came out in the second half of their week one matchup with Illinois State and scored on five of their final six possessions. Not once in the second half did we see Iowa go three and out. The result was a 40-point outburst and pure jubilation for the Hawkeye faithful.
