For most of the season, the Iowa football team has been banged up at key positions, but last week they seemed to be on the up that is until the injury bug struck again and last year’s starting guard Cole Banwart went down with a season-ending injury. His likely replacement, Kyler Schott, is also still recovering. What followed that was some of the worst interior offensive-line play I’ve seen in a while.
Purdue, however, doesn’t have nearly the same caliber of a defensive line as Penn State, which is a good thing, and for the first time this season, the Hawks check into this game as the healthier team.
