We’re just over a week away from Iowa’s open spring practice and less than a week into the spring transfer portal window opening and there’s been loads of action around college football. More than 3,500 players have entered the portal this week, per On3.
In Iowa City, we’ve already seen the Hawkeyes lose backup quarterback Brendan Sullivan, as well as four younger role players. But Good Friday brought with it some good news as the portal window brought not just departures, but our first new name joining the Hawkeyes as former Ferris State OT Bryce George committed to Iowa.
