Iowa Football: Brendan Sullivan to Miss Remainder of Season, Cade McNamara to Start vs. Maryland

The news that no one in the Iowa fanbase wanted to hear broke this morning, QB1 is out for the rest of the season due to, what I assume, is a dreaded “high ankle sprain”. Thus the door is opened for the return of Cade McNamara to the starting role, assuming that he was able to clear concussion protocols during the bye week.

Iowa QB Brendan Sullivan, who has started the last two games for the Hawkeyes, is expected to miss the rest of the regular season due to an ankle injury, a source tells @cbssports/@247sports.
