Things are heating up for the Hawkeyes under new head coach Ben McCollum. After bringing over five players from his Drake roster that went 31-4 and won an NCAA Tournament matchup with Mizzou, McCollum has now brought in Kansas State sharpshooter Brendan Hausen while also retaining current Hawkeye Cooper Koch.
Iowa also landed a commitment from West Des Moines Valley big man Trevin Jirak, who had previously been committed to Northern Iowa. Beyond that, the Hawkeyes have had a number of visitors on campus or slated to visit in the coming week.
While several of those have now opted for other destinations, things are looking up for a couple, including another talented shooter from out west and a big man from out east.
