Iowa basketball senior forward Dale Jones will miss 8-9 weeks with a sprained wrist. The NCAA granted Jones a sixth year of eligibility this offseason after he missed almost all of last season due to an injury.
This season, Jones has played in one game, against Seton Hall, and is when he suffered the wrist injury. The senior played two minutes and missed his only shot attempt. He also recorded one rebound, assist and committed a foul with one turnover, as well.
This is not Jones’ first major injury with the Hawkeyes, though.
