Iowa holds on to the fourth spot in the AP Top 25, 122 points behind third-place Oklahoma. The Hawkeyes are the top-ranked Big 10 team in the poll, two spots above Maryland. Joining Iowa and the Terrapins are Michigan State (No. 8) and Purdue (No. 17). Michigan and Wisconsin also received votes. All four Hawkeye losses so far this season have come at the hands of teams which are ranked in the AP Top 25.
In the USA Today poll, Iowa dropped a spot from No. 5 to No. 6. The Hawkeyes are 12 points behind Maryland.
