The Iowa Hawkeyes have been sidelined for the last week given the cancellation of Iowa’s Thursday matchup with Michigan State. The Hawkeyes will be back on the court on Sunday looking for a season sweep against Northwestern.
Iowa won the first matchup against the Wildcats 87-72 on the back of a balanced attack. Iowa got a 24-point night out of Jordan Bohannon, who shot 6/9 from beyond the arc, while getting 19 from CJ Fredrick, 18 from Luka Garza and 10 points from Joe Wieskamp.
Northwestern was led not by their season leading scorer Miller Kopp, who had 11 points on the night, but by big man Pete Nance, who finished with 21 points on 3⁄4 shooting from beyond the arc.
