The Iowa Basketball team played just one game last week, but unfortunately, they lost to the Penn State Nittany Lions. AP Poll voters dropped Iowa four spots from number four to number eight this week.
This could’ve been a lot worse and in all reality, it doesn’t matter at this point. With the way top five teams have been falling, you almost want the Hawkeyes to be on the outside looking in. When Iowa lost last Wednesday to Penn State, three other top five teams were in action. And at the end of the night, top five teams were 1-3 in those four games.
