Tony Perkins, a three-star recruit out of Indianapolis announced he is going to be playing for the Iowa basketball team yesterday. Perkins, a 2020 recruit, committed after he visited Iowa this past weekend. Tony is a shooting guard that is very skilled and is quick with the ball in his hands. He is also a streaky shooter as well.
The Iowa basketball team was his only power 5 offer, but he did hold offers from Ball State and Toledo among others.
I really like this pick up from coach McCaffery and his staff. I think Tony Perkins can be a nice player when he gets to Iowa City.
