Former Iowa basketball player Aaron White was drafted by the Washington Wizards with the 49th pick in the second round of the 2015 NBA Draft, but he has yet to appear in an NBA game.
Since the draft, White has spent the last four seasons playing overseas in Germany, Russia, and most recently, Lithuania where White was a key contributor for the BC Zalgiris. In two seasons with White, BC Zalgiris claimed two more league championships as the Iowa basketball product averaged 8.9/8.2 points, 4.4/4.2 rebounds, and 1/.7 assists per game respectively in 2017 and 2018.
He is now a free agent, and rumors prior to the NBA free agency frenzy was that White may be finally joining the Wizards.
