Iowa baseball picked up a pair of convincing wins over the weekend in Port Charlotte, Florida.
The Hawkeyes (8-5) toppled Western Michigan on March 6 and Georgetown on March 7 before losing to Army on Sunday. Despite the loss, it was yet another successful weekend trip for Rick Heller and Company.
Iowa had no issues with offense in its two wins. The Hawkeyes beat Western Michigan 10-0 in seven innings, then took down Georgetown 22-2. In other words, the Hawkeyes outscored their first two opponents 32-2.
Jack Dreyer pitched the entirety of the win over the Broncos.
