Winning a series in any sport is a sizable accomplishment. The Iowa Hawkeyes left the Chicago area a little disappointed, even though the Iowa 9 won 67% of their games this past weekend against the Northwestern Wildcats. The Hawkeyes were hoping to sweep their third consecutive B1G opponent. After winning the first game 12-1 and the second game 7-1, the Hawkeyes scratched and clawed back, only to lose in the bottom of the ninth 5-4. The Hawkeyes have two more wins than the1st place UCLA Bruins, but the Hawks have one more loss.
