On Saturday afternoon, the Reese’s Senior Bowl was played in Mobile, Ala. The unimportant final result was the South defeating the North by a final score of 27-16.
Iowa center Austin Blythe and tight end Henry Krieger Coble received invitations to play for the North team.
Krieger Coble had three receptions for 16 yards. He caught two passes in the first quarter from North Dakota State quarterback Carson Wentz. Blythe was not one of the more discussed prospects, leading me to believe that either he did not play a lot in the game, or he was not as much of an intriguing prospect as other centers like Ryan Kelly of Alabama and Jack Conklin of Michigan State.
