The Iowa Hawkeyes handed South Dakota their first loss of the season in a 96-77 win over the Coyotes. Josh Dix led the Hawks with 23 points on 8/10 shooting. He made 5 of 6 shots from deep. That’s not enough shooting from Dix!
Seydou Traore had his first run of the young season and flashed in 22 minutes. He had 12 points on 5/9 shooting but showed the type of athleticism Iowa has been sorely missing. He was on the receiving end of an alley-oop from Brock Harding midway through the second half and notched 2 of Iowa’s 3 blocks.
