Yikes.
With the first day of the combine officially in the books, there are plenty of stories to cover. It’s become incredibly apparent that this is one of the most stacked tackle drafts we’ve seen in years, potentially decades. Really, this class has fielded an incredibly impressive group of prospects. Far more impressive than last year’s defensive class in my opinion, beyond players like Jared Verse and Byron Murphy.
There’s a list of standout prospects longer than a Walgreens receipt, with athletic freaks like Landon Jackson and Ty Robinson dominating the athletic drills. Jihaad Campbell asserted himself as the best Linebacker in this class, but a handful of guys really showed out.
