The #18 Iowa Hawkeyes (7-2) returned to non-conference form to beat the Iowa State Cyclones (7-2), 98-84.
Isaiah Moss had his best game of the night, as the Hawks rode his 18 points in the first half to a seven-point lead at the break. The game was a back-and-forth affair through the first 9 minutes, as the teams found themselves tied 24-24 after a Moss three pointer.
Shortly before that point, Cordell Pemsl checked in and provided Iowa with some much needed grit. While he was on the court, Iowa outscored the Cyclones 20-8.
