You know, I’m honestly a little bit upset here, though maybe not for the reason you’re thinking. I spent a good chunk of time last week compiling numbers and doing research on the QB’s that have played for Iowa during Kirk Ferentz’s tenure. I had a whole article written in my head that looked at the times where there were legitimate QB competitions, and when there should have been but weren’t. There would have been phrases like “for QB’s with more than 200 career attempts” and other things that respectable journalists control for when analyzing career performances, only to be hit with this before I’d even set fingers to my keyboard:
Iowa QB Brendan Sullivan, who has started the last two games for the Hawkeyes, is expected to miss the rest of the regular season due to an ankle injury, a source tells @cbssports/@247sports.
