Iowa beat Cal Poly 85-59, and then follow that win up with another against No. 12 Texas Tech.
The 72-61 Hawkeye victory over the Red Raiders was an outstanding outing for Iowa. Jordan Bohannon dropped 20 points, Luke Garza scored 17, Joe Wieskamp added 16, and C.J. Fredrick netted 10.
Speaking of Fredrick, he’s had a stellar past three games, averaging 15.7 points per game over that stretch. He’s a perfect shooter for Iowa, someone head coach Fran McCaffery can pair with Bohannon in the back court.
