‘Crootin: Iowa Football Lands Commitment from 3-Star WR/RB Tyrone Tracy

The momentum is starting to build on the Iowa Football recruiting trail. After losing its first class of 2018 commit, Wisconsin linebacker Mike Bruner, earlier this week, Kirk Ferentz and staff added a third recruit in the class when Indianapolis athlete Tyrone Tracy committed to the Hawkeyes Saturday evening.

Tracy is a 6’ 185lb RB/WR who plays his high school football at Decatur Central HS in Indianapolis. He’s a consensus 3-star recruit and is ranked as the #8 recruit in Indiana and #38 RB in the country according to 247Sports Composite rankings.

Despite lining up primarily at RB in high school, Tracy is reportedly being recruited as a WR by the Hawkeyes.
