Well, Friday night was a massive bust. Not only did the Hawkeyes play another dud of a game much like they did in East Lansing, but we saw a few potentially season-altering injuries. Brendan Sullivan went down, leaving Iowa with a fifth string walk-on at QB and fans wondering if we’re back to Cade McNamara when the Hawkeyes head to College Park. Meanwhile, All-American linebacker Jay Higgins went down with a soft tissue injury that may be the biggest loss we’ve seen to this roster in a while.
Not screaming into the void feels difficult.
Perhaps the only silver lining is that with the Hawkeyes playing on Friday night, we have a wide open day without our them causing heart burn today.
