Career-High 26 By Disterhoft Not Enough in Ames

AMES, Iowa -- The 19th-ranked University of Iowa women's basketball team was outscored 23-12 in the final 10 minutes and fell at Iowa State, 69-66, on Dec. 11 in Hilton Coliseum.

The Hawkeyes slipped to 8-2 overall; Iowa State improved to 5-3. It marked Iowa's 10th consecutive loss in Ames.

UI junior Ally Disterhoft scored a career-high 26 points with eight rebounds and three assists. Junior Alexa Kastanek (14 points) and Chase Coley (12) were also in double figures for the Hawkeyes, who saw their three-game winning streak come to an end.
