IOWA CITY, Iowa -- University of Iowa senior Nick Roscetti is a semifinalist for the Brooks Wallace Shortstop of the Year Award, it was announced Thursday by the College Baseball Hall of Fame.
Roscetti is one of 11 players named to the semifinal list, joining four players from the Atlantic Coast Conference, two from the Big 12 Conference, Conference USA, and Southeastern Conference. Roscetti is the lone Big Ten Conference player remaining.
The Sherman, Illinois, native closed out his Hawkeye career by earning first-team All-Big Ten honors in 2016.
