Late last week it was announced the Pac-12 would expand by adding Boise State, Fresno State, Colorado State, and San Diego State in 2026. It was a bit shocking given the conference was left for dead with only two members left amid its ruins. Now, they’re only needing two more schools to meet the eight-team minimum threshold the NCAA requires for an FBS conference. This naturally led to speculation that former members Stanford and Cal might look to return to their one-time home.
But the latter of those teams sure seems to be living its best life in the ACC.
