Electricity was briefly cut on Tuesday at a stadium that hosted six World Cup games this summer after the builder failed to pay its bills on time.
The Samara Arena, a 42,000-seat stadium that opened in April and has since become the home of Russian Premier League club Krylia Sovetov Samara, was the site of England's 2-0 quarterfinal win over Sweden.
A spokeswoman for Samaraenergo said that PSO Kazan racked up a debt of 9,216,000 roubles ($137,600) and received a significant amount of time to settle it before power was cut, though the company reversed the decision because a game is scheduled for Saturday.
