Former West Ham star Stan Lazaridis has backed Javier Hernandez to display his Mexico form at club level next season after an underwhelming start to life at the Premier League club.
Hernandez joined the Hammers from Bayer Leverkusen last summer in a deal worth £16 million (€18m/$21m), scoring eight goals in 33 games in what has proved a frustrating period under David Moyes.
However, Chicharito's form at international level has outshone that of his new club with the former Manchester United forward now on 49 goals in 103 Mexico caps, marking himself as the all-time leading scorer for his country.
