Jack Wilshere has missed preseason training with a patella injury, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed midfielder Jack Wilshere is unavailable due to a patella injury.
Wilshere missed Arsenal's win over Chivas de Guadalajara on Sunday and is likely to be on the sidelines for the club's next game against Viking on Friday.
The England international struggled to make an impact at Euro 2016 after managing just one Premier League start last season, but Wenger claimed Wilshere's latest injury is not serious.
"It's a slight patella problem but I think he should be with us on tour on Thursday," Wenger said.
