VANCOUVER – In a long season that involves three competitions, the Vancouver Whitecaps looked a refreshed side in training this week following an extended break.
After its Canadian Championship semifinal series triumph over NASL side Ottawa Fury, Whitecaps players and coaching staff took a few days off before preparing for a busy schedule to end the month of June this week, starting with a return to MLS action versus New England Revolution at BC Place on Saturday afternoon.
